Under intense track conditions, the factory-fitted CV boots on the G8x BMW M2, M3 and M4 are prone to cracking and premature failure due to excessive heat exposure—especially when running an aftermarket exhaust.
We've engineered precision driveshaft heat shields to provide superior thermal protection, effectively deflecting radiant heat and extending the lifespan of critical drivetrain components. Designed for enthusiasts who push their cars to the limit, our heat shields offer a simple yet essential upgrade for enhanced durability and reliability on and off the track.
Upgrading to an aftermarket exhaust system or increasing engine performance generates significantly more heat in the drivetrain area. With the exhaust sitting closer to the CV boots, this excess heat leads to premature cracking and failure of the factory rubber boots. Over time, this can cause grease leaks, CV joint wear, and eventual driveline issues—especially under aggressive track conditions.
BMW’s response to this well-known issue is to fit CS/CSL driveshafts, which come at an eye-watering cost of over £2,000. MMX offers a smarter, cost-effective alternative that achieves the same level of protection without the need for expensive drivetrain replacements.

I went with the Endless MX-72 Plus Brake Pads for my G8X and they've been a great upgrade. The pedal feels positive and the pads give plenty of confidence when braking hard. They also work well for normal road driving, which was important to me. CPC Clubsport made the whole ordering process easy.

Had the Nitron NTR R3 Coilovers fitted to my E9X M3 and the difference is impressive. The car feels much more controlled and planted, particularly through faster corners. The adjustability is a big advantage as well, allowing the setup to be tailored to how I use the car. Excellent upgrade for a car that sees both road and track use.

Fitted the Ferodo DS1.11 Brake Pads F8X (Front) to my F82 M4 and they've been excellent. The initial bite is strong and the braking feels much more consistent when pushing the car hard. Recently fitted the SG Motorworks S65 Unfiltered Velocity Stack Kit to my E9X M3. The quality of the kit is excellent and the finish looks great once installed. The engine sounds noticeably more aggressive under acceleration and the throttle response feels really sharp. Very pleased with the upgrade.

Fitted the AP Racing CP9660 368mm Front Brake Upgrade to my F82 M4 and the improvement in braking performance is immediately noticeable. Recently installed the Milltek OPF/GPF Back Exhaust on my F82 M4. The fitment was excellent and the quality of the system is exactly what you'd expect from Milltek.
