AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Catch Can Kit for the S55 engine fitted in the BMW M3/M4 & M2 Competition, for fast road or track use.
Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure performance of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time.
AIRTEC Motorsport’s catch can kit for the BMW M models utilises the available space to integrate seamlessly within the engine bay. It features a high-quality billet machined bracket, finished in anodised matt black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place.
The can itself features an internal micron filter, baffle and dipstick and detaches to allow easy maintenance. It comes with a comprehensive fitting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide.
Why do I need a catch can?
The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance. Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures. A catch can works as a filter to catch harmful contaminants before they can reach the inlet system.

Had the Nitron NTR R3 Coilovers fitted to my E9X M3 and the difference is impressive. The car feels much more controlled and planted, particularly through faster corners. The adjustability is a big advantage as well, allowing the setup to be tailored to how I use the car. Excellent upgrade for a car that sees both road and track use.

Fitted the Ferodo DS1.11 Brake Pads F8X (Front) to my F82 M4 and they've been excellent. The initial bite is strong and the braking feels much more consistent when pushing the car hard. Recently fitted the SG Motorworks S65 Unfiltered Velocity Stack Kit to my E9X M3. The quality of the kit is excellent and the finish looks great once installed. The engine sounds noticeably more aggressive under acceleration and the throttle response feels really sharp. Very pleased with the upgrade.

Fitted the AP Racing CP9660 368mm Front Brake Upgrade to my F82 M4 and the improvement in braking performance is immediately noticeable. Recently installed the Milltek OPF/GPF Back Exhaust on my F82 M4. The fitment was excellent and the quality of the system is exactly what you'd expect from Milltek.
