The Nitron elec-TRON R1 Coilover Kit is an advanced adaptive suspension upgrade for the BMW F80 M3 with factory Electronic Damper Control. Designed to retain full OEM EDC functionality, it allows you to upgrade the car’s suspension performance without relying on delete modules, coding or losing the convenience of in-car damper control.

The system combines Nitron’s race-proven R1 damper engineering with electronically controlled solenoid valves, allowing damping behaviour to adjust in real time through the factory EDC system. This gives the car sharper body control, improved response and greater chassis precision while still retaining the usability expected from a road-driven M3.

For fast road and track day use, the elec-TRON R1 offers a significant step up from the standard suspension. Nitron adjustable camber top mounts, Nitron race springs and Bi-Axis fittings are included as standard, giving the kit the hardware needed for a more accurate performance-focused setup while maintaining correct installation and avoiding unnecessary hose strain.

The kit is hand-built in the UK using premium motorsport-grade components and is ideal for owners who want serious suspension performance without sacrificing the factory adaptive damper interface. Custom spring rates are available on request, allowing the setup to be tailored around road use, tyre choice, track work or a more focused Clubsport build.
