Développé et fabriqué au siège d'AIRTEC au Royaume-Uni, ce kit d'échangeur air/eau en alliage usiné billet, aux spécifications ultimes, s'adresse aux BMW M2 Competition/M3 & M4 préparées pour un usage circuit ou route sportive. Il offre une solution de refroidissement renforcée bien au-delà des pièces de remplacement classiques du marché.
L'échangeur a été conçu pour réduire les températures d'air de suralimentation et les maintenir durablement basses en résistant à l'accumulation de chaleur, tout en conservant l'emplacement supérieur d'origine pour plus de simplicité. Les boîtes d'extrémité sont usinées avec précision dans l'aluminium billet pour un flux interne parfaitement fluide et un ajustement précis, afin d'accueillir le plus grand faisceau possible.
C'est le seul échangeur amélioré pour ce moteur à disposer de boîtes d'extrémité billet usinées CNC, plus grandes et à flux plus libre, avec déflecteurs internes pour mieux répartir l'air sur toute la longueur du faisceau. Les couvercles et plaques de raccordement sont aussi usinés dans la masse pour un ajustement parfait. Le kit se loge parfaitement sous le capot sans aucune modification, en utilisant le support amorti d'origine et les raccords de suralimentation et de liquide d'origine.
Essais
Testé coup sur coup avec enregistrement de données sur une voiture d'essai reprogrammée équipée de turbos hybrides Littco L640, développant 648bhp et 684lb ft. Avec l'échangeur d'origine, une accélération de 2 000 à 7 500 tr/min entraîne typiquement une hausse de 39 degrés de la température d'air de suralimentation. Avec l'échangeur AIRTEC, la même accélération n'entraîne typiquement qu'une hausse de 9 degrés.

Attention : les premières M2 non Competition à moteur N55 nécessitent la référence AIRTEC ATINTBMW4.

I went with the Endless MX-72 Plus Brake Pads for my G8X and they've been a great upgrade. The pedal feels positive and the pads give plenty of confidence when braking hard. They also work well for normal road driving, which was important to me. CPC Clubsport made the whole ordering process easy.

Had the Nitron NTR R3 Coilovers fitted to my E9X M3 and the difference is impressive. The car feels much more controlled and planted, particularly through faster corners. The adjustability is a big advantage as well, allowing the setup to be tailored to how I use the car. Excellent upgrade for a car that sees both road and track use.

Fitted the Ferodo DS1.11 Brake Pads F8X (Front) to my F82 M4 and they've been excellent. The initial bite is strong and the braking feels much more consistent when pushing the car hard. They’re particularly impressive on track where the brakes stay predictable through repeated heavy braking zones. Very happy with the purchase and service from CPC Clubsport.

Recently fitted the SG Motorworks S65 Unfiltered Velocity Stack Kit to my E9X M3. The quality of the kit is excellent and the finish looks great once installed. The engine sounds noticeably more aggressive under acceleration and the throttle response feels really sharp. Very pleased with the upgrade.

Fitted the AP Racing CP9660 368mm Front Brake Upgrade to my F82 M4 and the improvement in braking performance is immediately noticeable. The pedal feels much more confidence-inspiring and the brakes remain consistent when used hard. The kit looks fantastic behind the wheels as well. Very impressed with the upgrade.

Recently installed the Milltek OPF/GPF Back Exhaust on my F82 M4. The fitment was excellent and the quality of the system is exactly what you'd expect from Milltek. Bought the MMX Lowering Springs for my BMW and I'm really pleased with the result. The ride height is noticeably better without making the car uncomfortable for everyday driving. The car also feels more composed through corners. Installation was straightforward and the finished stance looks much better.
